And his last words were- is the story of when Pablo became the toast of the town.
It's very jumbled at the start and even appears to have working notes in it that heven't been deleted. It smooths out towards the middle, although the introduction of the guard is a mish-mash.
The crime which put Pablo in his present predicament is unclear, but I gather it's canabalistic in nature.
There are some nice chunky bits, with eyes doing odd things.
The end is disappointing. There is no adequetly explained reason for what happens.
There is potential in the story. It's brevity dosen't allow it fully develop the characters or the story, espically when a lot is gruesome decription. I would rarely say this about a story, but this one needs another 800 words to flesh it out and make it good.
