Break-in tells the story of a family preyed on by an oportunist, their home defiled by his invasion of their living space.

This story captures the thought processes of the break-in artist in a way that television has taught us to understand. We anticipate his moves. The use of clear, direct language in the descriptive passages creates vivid images, the wanton destruction can be �seen�. Anyone who has experienced the invasion of privacy associated with break-ins will be filled with revulsion and then relieved - because this is a story with a twist.

This is the sort of well written �Tales of the unexpected� type story I would expect to find tucked in the pages of a women�s magazine.
