Cross purposes is a charmng tale of romance about a man who had thought he didn't need or want it. Albert meets the woman who steals his heart on a chance meeting and takes desperate measures to find her again. Through the process he finds himself and what he had been missing in his life.

This short but important span in Albert's life made the romance come alive in a believable fashion. The only part I would question is when the statistics interviewer says that "now is not the time" but calls him later. What was the change of heart for her?
