The deadly chicken is about....well a deadly chicken of course!

Clare did a great job of building the story, she improves by leaps and bounds with each and every story she writes. This story kept my attention, was amusing and fun, and maybe a bit scary too.

Since the author is only 10 years old, there are a few things in the story that show where her development into writing is, but I have noticed that she doesn't rush the ending anymore like she used to. There were a couple of spelling mistakes but for her age, she is very good at grammar and spelling.

I think everyone should read this story, Clare does a wonderful job of entertaining the reader and it warms my heart to know that at her age, she takes her writing so seriously. Keep it up Clare, you'll be on the best seller list one of these days!
