Freak

Ian's sister disappeared when he was kid and has been given up for dead. Taking a day of work Ian goes to the fair and what does he find...

The story is a little predictable. As soon as Ian entered the freak tent I knew what was going to happen. The end seems unrealistic to me. If he thought the thing in the cage was his long lost sister he wouldn't run away, he'd turn on the dwarf. The dwarf could then knock him out, drug him and chuck him a cage to become a new exhibit. This would be a more horrifying way to end to me.

Now that I've slammed it the good points. The scenery was well developed. You captured a good snapshot of a fair, though the dwarf is a bit stereotyped. Ian is a well developed character, some may say overdeveloped. The bits about his job could possibly be slimed down as they don't have a direct bearing on the story.

Not a particularly horrifying story, due to the predictability , but still worth reading.
