Future Holds

This is an interesting story about Ambrose and his clones. In particular it deals with Ambrose 100 and Berdick, the original Ambrose's lackey and clone.

The original Ambrose, still alive but in an aging body, is known as Ambrose the great and is incredibly wealthy. He was wild when younger.

Ambrose-100, hereafter called A-100, has hints of this wildness. To be useful A-100 must comply with orders for he is to be absorbed by the original in a few days.

Rick has given us a world where technology has advanced so far that sex hasn't been practiced between humans for 300 years. Things are done in the lab with the necessary ingredients.

The reader will find interest in the tension between the feelings of rebellion with A-100 and the demands of Berdick, the original Ambrose, and the contractual agreements.

Kind of like our modern time where we feel the need to break out of the mold and regain our individuality. But A-100 is just a clone with no feelings, or is he?
