This charming story is how a small dog named Buttons caputures the hearts of not only a pregnant woman but her husband as well. In the beginning, the husband is against the dog but through his wife's attachment to the dog, he finds a bit of love for the puppy within himself. At the end, the husband's true testimonial to love is shown as a new Buttons is brought into the world. Excellently written, clear and flowing text makes this story a good read.
