I Looked Up From My Writing

Arthur Toth is sitting in his secluded farmhouse, pounding furiously on his typewriter. He is working on The Story, the one that will, once and for all, obliterate human apathy. He is on the verge of using mere words to manifest the full spectrum of human emotion, wisdom, and potential.

But something is wrong with Arthur Toth, and something strange is going on right outside his window. Read the story to find out what.

This is a story from someone new to the Collective. The writer has an easy facility with language, and his descriptions are vivid and real. He keeps the suspense up until the very end.

In terms of craft, I was unsure about a few story issues after reading this. Rather than give away the plot, I would prefer to discuss them privately with the author, should the author desire.

This is a fine story, and a welcome addition to the site. Thanx, David, and keep 'em coming.
