Magic Bags and Forgotten Princesses

I found this beautifully written story moving, and Im not ashamed to say a tear rolled down my cheek.

Magic Bags & Forgotten Princesses captures the beauty and strength of the relationship between a mother and her growing daughter. It illustrates the hiccups we all experience as we grow, and the way someone who cares can help us through. The small moments of magic as we learn.

Although the conclusion of the story is always obvious it is never important because the telling of the story of Denise and a teacher who cares is what we focus on. The major character (Denise) and incidental characters (Denises mum and teacher), are brought to life through a clarity of language.

A big issue dealt with in a sensitive manner, to leave us - along with Denises teacher - wondering at the precarious of life and the all too common loss of potential.
