Natural music

Natural Music is a literary piece about two friends. One is an accomplished fiddler, Susan, the other studying to be a chemist, Winona. The story deals with the confusion of Winona towards her life and future.

Winona seems to be a loner, the type of person that everyone walks over and she allows this to happen trying to justify it by saying it can't be changed. Susan seems to be the opposite, very sociable and enjoys having attention paid to her.

The story in itself was not bad, I read it three times though to get the general idea behind it.

There are a few problems with grammar such as, "She had went to the counter with her teabags". The story is broken up into several different 'chapters' and a couple of them didn't seem to relate at all.

There are several good sayings and the words seem to dance through part of the story, but work needs to be done to get more of a rise out of the reader.

As a reviewer, I read it several times to make sure that I was informed, but as a reader reading it just one time, I would have gone away feeling empty and wondering what I just read.

All in all the writer does seem to have a way with words and didn't do a bad job.
