Interesting story about someone we all know too well, Mr. Past. I suspect that he is a regular with us all.
Kate brings to life the often daily conflict that we all face with the results of past relationships gone bad or, as in this case, continuing badly. A matter of caught betwixt and between.
Should she tell Mr. Past goodbye or not? She seems to know Mr. Past better than she knows her former or current paramour.
I must confess that I was a little confused at first. I was unsure of who Mr. Past was. I thought he was Michael and yet as I read he was a separate entity. I guess he was a bit of both. The final couple of paragraphs left me unsure of who was being talked about. Was it Mr. Past who she was wanting to shock into reality or was it Michael.
Notwithstanding this probably personal confusion a good taste of Mr. Past. Or is that a bad taste.
