The Perfect Plan has one of the best opening sentences I have ever read. It is a short piece, just enough to tantalize the reader with the idea of the ultimate scam.

As usual, there is nothing I can object to in Ian Lester's writing. My only objection, in fact, is that I want more of it, in this particular case. I even found myself thinking about it in the shower this morning, wondering what the plan was.... (If that was your intention, Ian, you have succeeded.)
