I am not sure what the writers intent for this was. First a man cannot decide on a gift and he questions how much meaning this gift will have to his mother. A woman finds his keys and boom, he imagines himself with this woman rolling around in the hay a bit. Then he picks up the $9.95 gift for his mother which he was against to begin with.

Is the reason for this becauase he is taken aback by the woman? It's just not clear. If this idea was developed a bit more, I think it would make a good "love (or lust) at first sight" story. As is, I give it a confusing thumbs down.
