Reflections is an apt title for this work. There are several meanings to this title. Cheryl's mother is dying, she's dealing with an abusive husband. Now it's time to look back and take control of her life. Cheryl looks in the mirror and sees herself looking back. Bruce, her husband can't even do that. Told through the eyes of Cheryl but with the input of the people who have influenced her life the most, Reflections is a nice twist to the "it's time for change" story. Every step is realistic, every sentence can be seen by the reader. Most of all, the "weak bitch" turns into a predator and hunts for her freedom. Although this work is not for every fiction market because of the graphic content, I feel the author will have a good chance with this one for paying publication.
