Part One

I-Genesis

his is Caleb Addrenax, a lone warrior on his journey to stop the ultimate evil. He carries the Right Hand of Justice, his magic sword, the Gauntlet of Everlasting, which allows him to heal at an abnormal rate, and the Amulet of Lesser Shielding, which sends him a shield of holy light that can stop many harsh blows with little or no impact. He will only end his journey in victory or defeat.

I am Caleb of Alpha,
A noble and devoted warrior,
Who’s adventure has just begun.
From Alpha, I travel,
To Eden, I journey,
To stop an evil warlord.
Abadon, a ruler from below, who wants to set free his hell on earth.
My journey will be long and my journey will be rough,
The dangers that my journey brings, will be simple obstacles in my way.
I’ll travel day and night, night and day until this is finished.
With my Right Hand of Justice in my right hand
My magic sword that will bring peace to this land.
On my journey, I have no crew
My first adventure has just begun.

II-The Ravers

aleb begins his journey in the land of Zenith where he runs into four Raver each riding a Fiery. A Raver is a warrior from Hell, set out to kill whoever it can kill. A Fiery is a HellDog, a big, black dog-looking demon.

A Raver encounter is rare in these parts,
For Ravers only travel in Hell.
A Raver is one who’s sleeps forever,
In hell, that’s where he belongs.
Seeing a Raver can be a dangerous thing,
Because Ravers kill whoever they meet.
Ravers on Fierys add to the danger,
A Fiery is worse than anything you will ever meet.
Hard to kill and easy to die to,
Something you don’t want to meet in the dark.
Big and black, a Fiery is silent,
As it creeps up and hits you by surprise.
You’d never have thought that something so small
could be as big as it is, but small and quick a Fiery attacks,
and you never will see one again.

The four of them attacked me and brought me to the ground,
I pulled out my sword and swung with my might and hit the air itself.
Missing my attack left me open for another which hit me and there I fell once more.
Pain in my side from the Ravers mighty blow, I stood up swung again.
This time connecting with a Ravers head, taking it right off.
The Fiery leaped and knocked me to the ground,
On top of me it smiled showing it’s bloody grin.
With my Amulet in my hand, I called forth the light of the heavens that protect me.
My shield of holy light came down and stopped the Fierys attack,
With no damage done, I got up and ran so the Fierys could not catch up.

The Fierys chased me until I stopped running and stuck my sword through ones head.
The three remaining Fierys stopped and released their Raver riders.
Swinging my sword I hit another head because that’s the only way to kill them,
To send a Fiery to it’s grave in hell, that’s where it belongs.
The Fierys attacking me where stopped by my shield and I took no damage.
Forgetting the pain that stabbed into my side, I attacked again and removed another head.
One Raver remained with two Fierys behind, my amulet is what keeps me alive.
I swung my sword and hit the Fiery who looked at me and laughed.
I stared into the demons eyes and realized none of the others where dead.
Four Fierys looked at me and laughed and then multiplied again.
Eight! The devils tricks have caught my eye, I saw not eight but one before me. Dead.

A Raver on a Fiery, that’s all that remained.
It looked at me and said:
“Hell awaits you Caleb, don’t deny it for it is coming.”
The Raver saw fear in my eyes as it laughed.
It knew I was scared, it knew I was mad.
Charging with my sword, I ran at ramming speed,
I stopped with my sword through his neck,
I pulled out my sword and his head fell to the ground.
I looked at it and laughed myself and said:
“If Hell awaits, I’ll see you there”
The one Fiery left didn’t even fight,
It just stayed to die.

III-Vally of Chimera

he Valley of Chimera was put there by wizards who wanted no one to pass through. The named it Valley Chimera because people think Chimera is a beast but it’s only a word, and it means fantasy. The Valley of Chimera makes you see your fears and desires so you’ll never leave. Caleb is about to find out the secret of the Valley that the wizards never told.

This adventure I could have avoided,
but curiosity brought me here.
I know this peril can set me way off track,
but I can handle what it gives.

At the entrance to the Valley I see lightning bolts lighting up the sky.
I fear that I’ll never get out of here, I fear I’ll lose to Abadon but If fear controls me,
I’ll certainly die afraid. I can’t let that happen.
I enter with dignity and hope not to cower in fear,
I’ll walk through with my job in mind, to defeat Abadon that’s what I must do.

I start to walk and I look around, I see trees and grass and beautiful scenery.
Nothing is tempting me or nothing is scaring me. It’s so beautiful.
There are red fruits on the trees and the Ravers and Fierys made me hungry.
It won’t harm anything it’s just a little fruit, then my mind kicked in.
No I can’t eat that fruit. Then it happened.

My mother was walking toward me, I knew it was not real.
I tried so hard not to give in but tears were streaming down my cheeks.
I turned to run and I hit a stringy, sticky thing. A spider’s web!
My fear is here, I have to get out before it gets to me.
A ran right through the web and kept on going,
I realized I was going to the beginning.

I reached the beginning and turned around,
I didn’t see the beauty, I didn’t see the lightning bolts,
Nothing was there that was there before.
With my mind I thought it out,
I figured what was reality and fantasy.
The Valley is fantasy, there’s nothing real to hurt me in there.
I have an idea, ignore all I see by running all the way through
I decided to do it now and do it with out fear or desire to stop me.

I ran as fast as I could, I stopped for nothing.
I saw my parents with my little brother and my dog,
I saw Abadon’s face laughing at me as if he knew I’d lose,
I saw someone standing if front of me, I knew it wasn’t real.
I ran expecting to go right through it and I ran right into him.
He and I both flew in opposite directions.

As we both got up he said:
“What do you think your doing,
I am here to help you,
I saw you were running and I thought you were in danger.
I saw that guy laughing at you and I thought you were in trouble.”
He saw Abadon too, of all the fantasy could he be real?
Could Abadon have really been in there?
I needed to get to a town so I asked the guy if he could tell me,
Where the nearest town is located.
He told me through the mountains but it’s a dangerous journey in the winter.
It wasn’t snowing here but it was in the mountains.
That could be very dangerous.
So I decided to journey with my right hand filled with my Right Hand of Justice.

IV-Ambushed!

n the mountains during winter is a dangerous time. All the creatures are trying to survive by killing each other. It gets really harsh when a pack of Yeti’s attack Caleb while walking through. Caleb with his right hand filled with his Right Hand of Justice he is prepared but not really prepared.

The mountains in winter are dangerous,
So those who would travel would be in danger.
I guess that means I am in danger.
The wildlife here are fighting for survival,
If I’m in the wild of the mountains,
And I live, I’m wildlife just fighting for survival.
It is cold, I’m hungry and I’m tired.
I wonder if I’ll get a break and some food.
I’m carrying my sword just in case I’m attacked but that’s a guaranteed thing.
If any wildlife attack me, I’m prepared to fight my way through.

As I thought about being attacked it happened.
A pack of mountain yeti’s jumped out from a crevasse.
The six of them surrounded me, staring at me,
They wanted me for their dinner.
I wasn’t about to be eaten without a fight.

I swung my sword and it hit a yeti’s arm,
and in revenge it slashed my face with it’s claws.
I didn’t realize how strong a yeti is until now.
Blood dripped from the gash on my cheek,
turning the snow red.
The yeti’s made noise as if they were laughing at me.
I stood up and swung again and it hit one in the leg.
It dropped to the ground and another grabbed my waist and threw me.
I flew and hit a rock knowing I broke my left arm,
I stood up, really mad, I ran one through and cut one’s head off.
Another two of them grabbed my arms and the one on the ground grabbed my legs.
I fell and hit my head, hard.
They ripped at my stomach and it was bleeding.
I kicked free of the one on my legs,
and then kicked the ones holding my arms away.

My stomach hurt and bled, I realized the power of the gauntlet had kicked.
I started to heal, beginning with my most serious injury, my stomach.
The gauntlet had drained a little power from me while it healed me.
The yeti’s were reorganized and ready to make another attack.
The one who’s arm I cut was in front and guess is there leader.
He walked up to me and said something I didn’t understand.
I swung my sword and it ducked under it and punched my in the face.
My nose bled, my cheek bled and my stomach was healed.
My left arm was healed and I lost a lot of power from it.
It made me tired and not so quick on my attack.
On the ground from that punch, I stuck sword through the yeti’s stomach,
and it hit one behind him, two with one stab.
The second one wasn’t dead but it was down.
I stabbed it in the head and the two remaining stood staring at me.
As angry as they were, I knew they were scared.
One leaped at me and with a weak swing I took off his head.
The last one ran away and I knew the possibilities if it got away,
So I launched my sword in the air and it stabbed it in the back,
going right through it’s heart.

I retrieved my sword and as tired as I was,
I had to keep going until I reached the village.
I reached the mountainside and saw the village below me.
The people of the village looked as if they were celebrating a holiday.
They knew how to party.

I stumbled and fell, the snow felt good.
I was tired and I didn’t want to get up,
but I knew the village was near so I did.
I started to walk towards the village, down the mountain
And the fatigue took me over and I collapsed.

Part Two

V-Caleb, The Wizard

fter the long battle with the yeti’s, Caleb, tired from his day of adventure, awakes in a bed in a nice warm house. His wounds were healed and his energy was restored but the growling of his stomach awoke him.

I awoke in a nice house,
I don’t remember coming here or how I got here,
I just know I felt better with my energy returned,
But starving for not eating all day yesterday.
I heard someone making noise in another room,
So I got up from the bed to see who it was.

I walked in there and a beautiful woman was making something,
It smelled delicious and I was hungry.

She looked at me and said:
“Good Morning or Good Afternoon.
You slept all day yesterday and half of the day today.
You must not have eaten or sleep in days.”

I told her about my day and she fed me something delicious.
I didn’t see before or never had anything like it.
She told me her son found me on the mountainside
And that I rolled down the hill and I was covered in snow.
They thought I was dead because of my frozen body.

After filling my stomach, I decided to check out the city.
Looking around I saw the kids playing and the men working.
The town looked peaceful and nice enough to let me stay.

At that moment, three men came up to me.
The first one said:
“Hello. My name is Niklas and these are my partners
Klynn and Rob. We run our little town of Edgeport.
We hope you have a good stay because you will never leave.”

They have a huge population
Because no one has ever left the city,
Unless they hunt for food.
They seem nice enough to let me leave,
Only if I explain to them my quest.

After telling them the story,
They still would not believe me.
They say I made up the story only to leave.
I have to find I way out of here,
Or Abadon will rule the world.
I had to trick them somehow.
I had to trick them so they would let me leave.
An idea sprang into my head.

I ran back to the house where I was staying.
I grabbed my stuff and found my fire sticks.
Fire sticks are common but only where I live.
We kept this our own secret.
Whenever you say “light for me”,
The fire stick bursts into flames and starts a fire.

I ran back to Niklas,
I told him I was a wizard,
A wizard of the highest order.
They asked me to prove I was.
I said:
“If I prove to you I am a wizard,
will you let me go?”
The agreed and I told them about wizards fire.
A strong magic that only a wizard can throw,
And that it’s so powerful that it burns until I tell it to stop.

At that moment I said the words and threw the fire stick,
It hit a building and it went up into flames,
And then I commanded it to stop.
Niklas told me I could leave,
But if I ever returned they would kill me.
I told them I would burn down their city,
But I did get free.
I also got a crew of five men to join me.

VI-The Dark Seas

fter getting away from the people of Edgeport, Caleb has to travel the Dark Seas to get to Eden. Eden is where Abadon’s castle is located. The Dark Seas are a dangerous place to be especially at night. Caleb and his crew have some trouble throughout the night and they encounter they greatest beast in the world, the mighty Leviathan

The Dark Seas are very dangerous,
The creatures living here will kill anyone,
And everyone they encounter.
My crew and I are prepared for the greatest of adventures.

My crew and I worked through the bad current and wind,
We also fought off a huge whale.
I didn’t actually see the whale but we defeated it.

It was late at night and my crew was sleeping,< BR> I was up watching the beautiful night sky.
The waves started to get heavy,
And the boat started to quake.

My crew awoke and ran to the dock,
And we saw a dark shadow beneath the water.
They recognized the waves,
And the quaking from the battle before.
It was the whale!
But this whale isn’t what we thought it was,
It’s the king of the sea,
The mightiest of creatures cannot stand up to it.
It is the great Leviathan.

We knew there is no way to defeat it by fighting it,
We had to escape it and let it be.
I used my mind to get away from the people at Edgeport,
So why can’t I use it now?

An idea sprang into my head.
There are five life boats on our boat,
So we can use those to escape.
We’ll all get on one of them and set the other four free,
To be destroyed.

We all gathered on to the one,
And we set the other ones free.
As we traveled with the current,
Since it was going our direction.
And we let the wind take us.
We were quiet as the Leviathan destroyed the first of our four boats.
And it traveled to each one destroying it and then looking in disappointment,
That we weren’t there.

The shore was very close,
And we knew we could make it.
The Leviathan then bumped our ship,
And we almost tipped over.
One of our men fell off,
The Leviathan swallowed him whole.
We paddled fast and then we all jumped off.
Luckily we made it to shore before the Leviathan got to us.

We were lucky, very lucky.
We made it to Eden finally,
And we saw why it is feared.
The scenery was a disgustusting forest,
With a swampy look.

We knew this maybe the most dangerous adventure of them all.

VII-The Eden Encounter

den is a living island. The inhabitants of this island protect the island from visitors. Abadon’s castle is located in the very center of the island. This maybe the most dangerous adventure of them all.

Eden is a strange place,
Everything here is alive in some way.
The plants are living, the rocks are living,
And even the trees are living.
They protect their leader,
Their leader is my arch-nemesis.
Abadon is alive on this island, somewhere.
I have to find him and stop him,
Or this world will be his.

We first looked around,
Just to see what we were up against.
It look like a forest,
A normal forest.
We started out on a path that someone has made,
We hoped this was the right path to take,
But we knew something would happen.
Only four of us left because one of my crew members,
Sadly, died at the mouth of the Leviathan.

As we were walking we noticed the trees had eyes,
And were watching our every move.
My Right Hand of Justice was in my right hand,
For protection and for Abadon to know I’m ready to destroy him.
A rock threw itself out in front of one of the crew members.
He tripped and a boulder fell out of a tree and crushed his skull.
Not looking at it because we would be sick,
We kept on going.

One of the members looked scared,
As if he knew he was the next to die.
He must have had a sixth sense,
Because a tree branch grabbed his arm,
I cut it off and another branch grabbed it again.
Then branches and plants grabbed his arms, legs and head.
They ripped him from limb to limb, leaving his head.
Hanging from a tree, a limbless body.
He knew he was dead, he knew.

The two remaining were prepared for anything,
Except quicksand.
One member was being sucked under,
The one member remaining and I tried to help,
But when we realized it was hopeless,
We let him go.

My last member told me he was afraid,
But not afraid to die.
I knew he was lying.
We walked for about an hour unharmed,
I could sense we were near.
My member yelled:
“There it be!”

The castle of Abadon was straight ahead,
And I knew I was about to go into a battle.
A battle between life and death to a world,
my world, my life was in danger.
I couldn’t let that happen,
I couldn’t let my fear take over,
I couldn’t let myself die without trying to win.
Victory was mine.

We reached the door and knocked.
The door opened and a man stood there.
He told us he knew we were coming,
So I killed him.
When we walked in to the castle,
It was beautiful.
The walls were made of gold and silver,
The statues were marble and gold.
Everything was made for a king,
Or a king-to-be.

He heard a voice say:
“Come into the courtyard Caleb,
Bring no one.”

At that moment an arrow went through my crew members head,
His heart and his stomach.
I turned toward the courtyard and ran, mad.

VIII-The Final Confrontation

t is the final battle between good and evil, the ultimate evil. It was either hell on earth or peace throughout the world. Caleb will fight it out until the end when he wins, if he win. Abadon will fight harder until it’s over.

Abadon was waiting in a golden throne in the courtyard,
he had a throne in the courtyard.
As a matter of fact,
He had a golden throne in every room.

He said to me:
“I knew you would be here.
I expected to have killed three on my island,
But your carelessness killed on of own.
Your sword could have killed that Leviathan in one swing.
Your own stupidity has brought you here.
You shall perish with the rest of the people in your world.”

He was trying to scare me,
Make me more afraid than I already was.
I can’t let him intimidate me,
Or that would be certain defeat.
With my sword in hand I told him to raise up his sword.
He said I was to quick to go into battle.
I told him he was to afraid to fight me.

Drawing his sword it looked familiar.
So familiar that I was holding it in my hand.
His sword was different,
Instead of giving of a light glow with a light blade,
He had a dark glow with a dark blade.
A sword of evil.

He said:
“When I destroy you,
I will have the Right Hand of Justice,
And the Left Hand of Darkness”

Hold his sword in his left hand,
He swung with a fast, mighty blow.
So hard it took the sword out of my hand.
I flipped backwards,
Picked up my sword,
And blocked a hit,
That may have killed me.

I got up and swung at him,
He blocked,
We went back and forth,
Exchanging and blocking each others attempts to win the fight.
I realized that the fear had made me fight harder.
His overconfidence made him fight harder also.
We were both fight our hardest,
Trying to wear each other down.
Hit after hit we fought.

After one block,
He kicked me to the floor.
He said:
“You are growing weary,
And don’t deny it because I know, I can tell.
So you will have to give in to your fatigue.
Just give in now and avoid death.”

I charge him yelling,
And knocking him to the ground.
I tackled him giving myself the advantage.
I stood up and put my sword to his neck.
He was down and I knew I could win at any moment.

He said:
“You think you’re going to win don’t you,
Well your wrong, very wrong.”

He rolled away from my sword,
And grabbed his sword and stopped my thrust.
Swinging again and again I let out all my rage.
I kept on going but he blocked every single one, unharmed.
I couldn’t stop, I wouldn’t stop.
It was too much rage.
He killed four people and it won’t stop there.
If he wins this battle hell will take over.
The forces of evil will control all.
But the rage kept flowing,
And I kept swinging.

I finally stopped and he just laughed at me and said:
“You just wasted your energy.
I told you, you would finally give in to your fatigue.
You made a bad move,
And your time is up.
I have played with you long enough.
Get up and die like a man,
With dignity and with honor.
Or stay down and die afraid,
Like said you would never do.”

I got so mad that the adrenaline flowed,
I got up and swung and hacked off his right arm.
And in retaliation he swung, a nice accurate thrust,
And as his sword connected, I saw all of my life flash before me.
My parents death, the kidnapping and murder of my brother,
The day I began my journey, the Ravers,
The yeti’s, the city people, the deaths on Eden,
My crew being devoured by a living island and the Leviathan.
His powerful blow took of my head.
The only way to kill a Raver.
As my spirit flew to heaven,
I saw my blood spilled all over his courtyard.
Laughing, I saw him laughing at my body,
He spat on my bloody face.
My gauntlet can’t heal me now.

He picked up my sword.
The Right Hand of Justice,
And the Left Hand of Darkness.
Together, at last,
In the wrong hands.
The forces of evil now have control.
He acted as if he always knew he would win.
The journey is over but the hell has just begun.
