Tattoo Nightmare - The Conclusion
A fitting conclusion, again and again, to a fine story. After the original story I was left with the feeling that there had to be more. There were many questions left unanswered.
Throughout the conclusion even though Thomas answered these questions during the story I was caught short by the ending. See what happens when a reader, in this case me, presupposes the ending of the story?
The story was well done but I still couldn't shake this minor point. Could there have been a way in which a little more action could have carried the story along in those long narrative pieces near the end? Off hand I couldn't think of any but the idea still lurked in the back of my brain, right next to the "Space For Rent" sign'.
During the football game between the 'tatts' and the 'normies' I half expected the central character to meet his other self coming or going.
Interesting read with sci-fi overtones mixed in with fantasy.
