Tattoo Nightmare
Imaginative and hauntingly clear, Tattoo Nightmare is an edge of your seat thrill! A "Normie" has questions about the "Tats", people with a tattoo around their wrist. It isn't until this Normie grows up and has children of his own that his questions are finally and chillingly answered.
With such an original concept this striking account kept me wanting to read on like no story has in a long while. In school what actually happened to the Tats from the year before, why didn't they graduate as well? Ominous were the remaining Tats when asked questions. When the answer becomes clear, the reader is left with a Stephen King type "Oh the story is over but it could come back at any time." type feeling.
The only thing is that although Tom is hurrying to write the events, it still would have been nice to throw a sentence or two in about what happened in year that he changed ages and how his family survived and reacted. Aside from this, Tattoo Nightmare is absolutely wonderful!
