Curious mix of doctor-patient role, done before but done well this time. Story opens with doc interviewing first of three patients, called subjects 1,2, and 3. Moves well with description of subjects various problems. Change of pace between thoughts of doc and interaction is well done. Writer leads reader through the process fluidly but at the end I had to read it a few times to get the drift and yet still I wonder about it.

Very interesting story with subtle ending. Nice job.
