The Rain

2 billion people standing in the rain hoping to catch a cold. Sounds almost like a normal afternoon in New York City. All except for a well dressed man in white, or was it a white well dressed man?

A quirky story with good attention to detail, i.e., "open jawed, non-blinking eyes". The writer does a good job evoking the horror of the accident scene but leaves the reader pondering the meaning of the man in the red beanie with the star of david on it and the black youth standing by the body for hours.

Story shows promise and each person or group of persons who passes by scene of accident reacts to it strangely. Was this inspired by a real accident?

Interesting read. So many ways to go with it.
