The Usual
Two friends.... one is about to go down a different path than the other. They are both searching for their version of truth. The sending of a book to another person via email because it touched one but not the other begins this piece. Going through all the perils of believing and buying into the words and actions complete this piece.
The only problem with this seemingly dredged out monologe is that it's just that- a monologe. It seems that the strength the author is trying to convey is lost in the biting sting of sharp harshness as the piece progresses. It tries to say "you have your opinion and I have mine" but the whole point gets lost until the last paragraph. Which is the way this maybe should have been to begin with... one paragraph.
