"The Weather Center" is a very amusing story about a boy who finds himself dead and what awaits him. The story was amusing and interesting and left a smile on my face. The "angel" character is humorous and tells the boy what he can expect in the afterlife. The only thing I found not quite right with this story is that the author used the word friendly too many times, describing the character, his beard and his pipe.
I also doubted that the main character would go on a canoeing trip completely alone when he had no experience at all in the wild. Other than that, I found the story to be amusing and well worth reading. All in all I say....very well written!
