�Why There Are Dogs� is a fable. A story of sacrifice by one group for the good of another group, and the larger, world community.

It is also a heart warming explanation of why we, who smell and only walk on our back legs, came to be blessed or cursed with four legged barking things called dogs.

The language is straight forward, and reads as a simple narrative, you can hear the words being recited by an open-camp fire. The style suits the content.
