alone
Alone... "I think I can fly, but I'm not sure." This is how I felt about the piece of work- unsure. At first I thought the writer was trying to convey a feeling of loneliness and desolation over one incident. Then I thought it was a string of incidents. But it was entirely too confusing.
The bottle, desolation, the bottle, more desolation and through it all- uncertainty about what the writer is really wanting to say. There are conflicts between who the character is or if it should be multiple characters or personalities. It is not entirely clear either why the theme of flying was brought in as well. To me it just seemed like a hodge-podge of jumbled feeling.
"Everyone always says I can fly, but how do I know? You can't really." And with this story I pose the same question: "Everyone says every writing has a point, but how do I know? I can't really."
