"Comforting Words" is a complicated, albeit strange, story that I really could not grasp. The character was not described, there was no lead up to the characters feelings, in fact I could find no plot at all. I read the story a total of three times and only really got out of it that the character was depressed. The author was good with descriptions of surroundings but seemed to be stuck on using "big" words maybe to try to impress the readers. I recommend working on making an actual story rather than worrying about vocabulary for, unless it makes sense, a word is useless.
The story could probably be made longer to give the readers an idea of why the character is feeling this way and who the character is, as well as to give it an actual plot. As I see it, this story could use quite a bit of improvement but, with work, may turn out to be a good one. This story needs work.
