A nightmare to be sure...just a horrible, red, disgusting nightmare.

Here is a story that is as contemporary as todays news. The possibility of such a nightmare is not outside of the realm of believabilty. The lead character does the right thing ... she acts as the good samaritan to an accident victim.

She's not looking for a medal just to comfort the victim until the EMTs arrive. The victim doesn't even seem to be hurt badly until he bursts an artery. The comforter is drenched with his blood.

Life gives this person a choice she must make and make it she does. Janice paints a picture in blood of compassion and of unexpected results. It is a short but gripping tale with immense implications for today. Read it as a warning label. Life is risky - handle with care!
