Jercules and his reluctant sidekick, Lester, decide to put down the pork rinds and become super heros with the help of some linen and some speedos. They quickly encounter a bully that needs some dealing with in a comical adventure.
At times its hard to review a story simply because the reader is not sure how seriously the author takes their writing. I suspect the case here is not much care at all! This story was probably born out of watching too much television. It smacks of a bastard child from popular animation such as Beavis and Butthead and Duckman with thematic reference to the series Hercules.
The most disconcerting aspect of this story was the way the author used the strange method in which Every so Often a Word began With a Capital letter and then We found that certain Numbers were substituted in place of spelling certain 1s Out. (see its annoying isnt it!?) You need to be a very good author before you should start experimenting with this sort of stylistic approach.
I got a few laughs in this story. The descriptive pieces are vivid and have the potential to set up a real comic adventure. Some of the writing hints at real talent and I would urge the author to try a more serious approach with his writing. Despite the slapstick there were a couple of nice observations and a demonstrations of a firm grasp of popular culture and satire.
Read the Story at your Own Risk, but whatever you Do dont Take It too Seriously!
